Format Your Assets

Don't let a technical error delay your release date. Follow these official guidelines to ensure your audio and artwork are accepted by Spotify, Apple Music, and 150+ stores.

🎨 Artwork Requirements

Stores are extremely strict about visuals. Pixelated, blurry, or incorrectly sized images are the #1 reason for release rejection.

3000 x 3000 Pixels (Exact)
JPG Format
RGB Color Mode

✅ Do This:

  • Use a perfect 1:1 square ratio.
  • Ensure text on the artwork matches your metadata exactly (Artist Name & Title).
  • Keep file size under 10MB.

❌ Avoid This (Rejection Triggers):

  • Upscaling: Never stretch a small image (e.g., 500px) to 3000px. It will look blurry.
  • Extra Text: Do not include "Out Now", "New Single", social media handles (@name), or pricing.
  • Metadata match: Must match meta with artwork otherwise, it will rejeted
  • Logos: Do not include the Spotify, Apple, or Parental Advisory logo unless necessary.

🎵 Audio Requirements

We deliver High-Fidelity audio. Do not upload MP3 files; they are compressed and result in poor sound quality on streaming platforms.

.WAV Format Only
16-bit Bit Depth (Min)
44.1 kHz Sample Rate

✅ Technical Checklist

  • Channels: Stereo (2.0). Mono files are often rejected.
  • Bit Depth: 16-bit is standard. 24-bit is accepted (High Res).
  • Silence: Audio should not have more than 5 seconds of silence at the start or end.
⚠️
The "Fake WAV" Warning
Do not take an MP3 file and "convert" it to WAV. This does not fix the quality; it just makes a bad file larger. You must export the WAV directly from your DAW (FL Studio, Logic, etc.).
